HOW TO APPLY FOR DONATIONS & GRANTS
Applicants who are requesting for financial support from the KCB Foundation are required to complete the project proposal format and can submit it in the following ways;

Proposals that meet the Foundation’s criteria and CSR policy are received and reviewed on a rolling basis by the Foundation’s management and feedback on whether your proposal was successful or not will be received within 2 weeks.
Proposal criteria
For a proposal to be considered by the KCB Foundation, it must satisfy all of the following criteria;
- It must address either of the 5 KCB Foundation’s thematic areas i.e Health, Education, Welfare, Entrepreneurship and Environment.
- The projects and initiatives should be within Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania or Southern Sudan and Rwanda.
- The applying institution must be either of the following; registered societies, trusts, companies, public institutions, schools and community ba sed organizations who are engaged in social projects and endeavours.
- The activities or projects must have a demonstrable sustainability plan in place more so if they are start ups.
- The activity should make a provision for our staff to be involved in their capacity as volunteers, mentors and professionals.
The KCB Foundation does not extend support to following;
- Proposal for the support of individuals.
- Proposals for initiatives that provide funding for political causes or political groups and initiatives that promote religious causes will not be considered.
